 That's what this site is about. We want you to use your bicycle instead of your car and tell us about it. No, we don't expect you to ditch the gas guzzler for good immediately. What we want to encourage and support are baby steps. Tell us when you jumped on the velo to go to the convenience store for toilet paper. Or three blocks to the liquor store for a sixer.
We want you to register and tell us about your trips. In the past we've had some cool prizes for your essays. You can learn about navigating in traffic in a 'no drop' ride setting at 6:30PM each week at Herman Laird Park in Shawnee (Old Shawnee Town on Johnson Drive) or at the new North of the river edition each week leaving same time from Epic Bike and Sport. These Rides are part of the Slo-Mo Movement. Beginner friendly events spread around KC: Here's a listing of some of the current rides!
